Yaya would be honoured to finish his career in Barcelona

In an interview with the radio station Catalunya Radio, Yaya Toure denied all the exit rumours that had been going on for the last couple of months. “I don’t want to leave a big club like Barcelona. I love it here and I would like to win throphies here.”

He said that the team is doing well at the moment, and that he will work hard to help the team to win as many trophies as possible. “I would be honoured to finish my career in FC Barcelona.” said Yaya Toure.

Yaya will stay in Barcelona

At a press conference after the Athletico Madrid game, Yaya Toure was asked about all the rumours about him leaving the club. He pretty much denied it all.

“I am very happy in Barcelona. Things are going well, and I want to be a part of this team. As far as I’m concerned, I want to stay here for as many years as possible. There have been rumours about me asking for more money… I just don’t think about that now. I am playing, and that’s the most important thing. Money will come later,” said Toure.

Yaya’s salary to go up

There have been many speculations about Yaya Toure leaving FC Barcelona in January, but that’s been denied by both Toure and his agent. However, his agent told the press that at the end of the season anything could happen. One of the issues he’s having with Barcelona is his salary. His current salary is around 3 million euro, and Manchester City offered him 6.5 million euro if he joins the english club.

Toure said that he wants to stay with Barcelona, but he’s expecting a significant pay rise, or otherwise he will leave.

Yaya might leave next season

After he scored a magnificent goal against Atletico Madrid, the journalists asked him about his future and about big English clubs asking for him. He said that he doesn’t consider leaving anytime soon, because he plays for FC Barcelona and that’s the most important thing. But what will happen in the future, nobody knows, he said. “I currently play for FC Barca and I will give my best to help the club. However, I have an agent who works for me and he deals with things like transfers and bids and everything,” said Toure. He also said that he is proud that African players are being sought by the biggest clubs in Europe.

“I would love to play with my brother in Arsenal,” said Yaya. However, journalists also asked his agent about the rumoured bids — and he said that there were NO official bids for Yaya.

Yaya: “I’m very happy that I scored”

Yaya Toure, the tenacious midfielder from FC Barcelona, gave na interview to one Spanish newspaper. Here are a few parts of it.

Q: It seems that Barca has to push hard to win each game. It isn’t going as easy as at the beginning of the season.

A: It’s because of the holidays, and the whole atmosphere. We had a little rest, so it’s natural that our form is down a tiny bit. However, we’re winning and we’re still playing extraordinary, and that’s what’s the most important thing.

Q: The rivals are defending themselves with almost all players.

A: Yes, and we don’t like that. It’s hard to play against a team like that. We like to compete, we like to play football in the real sense of the word. But we have to fight, and win even those games.

Q: You scored a great goal in the last game. How do you feel about it?

A: I’m very happy that I scored. I don’t usually score because I play in a different position, and that’s why the goal was even more delicious.

Q: Will you fight for all three competitions this season?

A: Yes, of course. Every competition is important. We have a big fond of players, and I think we can win all three competitions.
